Species Explorer is an independent project created by Max Media, with the goal of connecting people to their local wildlife. The project will use both mobile and web-based components to allow entering nature observations, sharing within an online community of other “species explorers,” adding geocode and image data, and much more. This project is currently in production.

Working with Six Red Marbles and Houghton Mifflin, programmed several interactive activities for Discover project. The labs were designed for K-6 student users, and included various subjects related to science education, including “Plants and Animals,” “Matter and Energy,” and “Looking at Earth.”

Working with Six Red Marbles and McDougal Littell, programmed components, including shell, for WOW BioLabs. The BioLabs consisted of 14 separate interactive labs, ranging from such subjects as calorimetry to bird responses. The shell included features such as printing of lab reports and integration of a “notebook” that would keep track of user-entered data throughout the labs.

Soup2Nuts offers a wide range of in-house animation and video production services, and have created and produced such hits as Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist, The Dick and Paula Celebrity Special, Home Movies, Science Court, and Hey Monie. Max Media, developed 150+ web pages based on existing web design that used javascript, stylesheets, DHTML layers, and over 60 Flash and Quicktime animations.
