Thomas,

Part of the decision was related to the guide targeting the just released distributable player, which is FL 3.1. Part of it is having a bit more flexibility on the video implementation, such as using flv as the standard format instead of worrying about the different formats of video support on the phones. I like using rtmp and FMS and streaming the flv's as well. But you're right, we potentially lost some FL 2 users. :( It probably would be relatively easy to unhook the video menu and offer up a FL 2.x version of just the session info part. Hmm...

Hi Max,

I was wondering why there is no fl2 version of the app because I think you would target more max attendees no? other then that I like it, i like the simple but efficient navigation flow and the little max guy telling you what to do :)

btw feel free to play our mobile max game: http://labs.boulevart.be

Dave,

Great job, I've downloaded your example and will try on the Clix as soon as I can and let you know any thoughts.

I had tried the wrapper approach a while back but wasn't successful, so definitely interested to see what you whipped up!

Got persistent data working.

I was able to create a hack where flash lite 1.1 loads a flash lite 2.0 movie inside and the flash lite 2.0 pings the wrapper movie to save the info. I can't believe this works. Hopefully this saves some people some time. If you improve this system, please post it back to the forum.

Ryan,

Once you've logged into Second Life, go to "Search" and the Groups tab, type in "flash lite" and it should show up at the top of the results list...
