Forum Nokia PRO: Flash Zone Debuts
Tuesday, February 14th, 2006
Here’s an announcement from Nokia for a new “Pro Zone” to match their Forum Nokia: Symbian and other groups devoted to various development platforms for Nokia devices. Sounds like a nice step forward for Nokia and Flash Lite developers! From Nokia’s announcement:

Nokia recently announced Forum Nokia PRO: Flash Zone, a support program for Forum Nokia PRO members who want to create dynamic Macromedia Flash applications for mobile devices. Forum Nokia PRO: Flash Zone will offer PRO members exclusive access to direct technical support and training from Adobe, as well as business development opportunities. Flash Zone members will receive discounts on Adobe software and free copies of Flash Lite Players 1.1 and 2 (Adobe’s Flash profile for mobile phones) for testing on supported devices. They will also receive direct technical support via a dedicated e-mail list and opportunities to market applications at events. Exclusive online seminars and technical content, early access to upcoming product information, and access to beta programs will also be made available. Forum Nokia PRO: Flash Zone joins three specialized developer offerings that were launched last year: Forum Nokia PRO Symbian Zone, Forum Nokia PRO Enterprise Zone, and Forum Nokia PRO Networks Zone.
