Flash Lite Analytics Stats

Author: Maxim Antinori

The Open Screen Project site has a an interesting doc with Flash Lite analytics stats looking forward through 2012. While the upward curves of global adoption is nice to see (and by now are used to seeing in these reports if you’ve been hanging around Flash Lite for a while) an eyebrow raiser for me was the very little year to year change in US in the chart: Flash-Enabled Handset Shipments by Region going through 2012. Would be nice to see not all the growth in APAC…

I’m hoping for a breakout year in FL, with the distributable player (despite Ovi announcement of non-support, doh!) and aggregator partnerships. Will be tough though. Dare I say it’s do or die time this year? Being a diehard Flash Lite optimist, I’ll bet on do vs die…
